Mugwort for prophecy; Lisianthus for royalty and close bond with Macbeth; Cloves for camaraderie; Gladiolus for faithfulness & honor, “victory by the sword;” Stinging Nettle for fear/danger. Banquo’s prophecy “Thou shall have kings, though Thou be none;” sealed with gold wax and ballroom symbol.
- Betrayal: Cypress for death, pain, and grief; Pink Carnation for betrayal; Orange Lily for violence; Poppy for haunting. Sealed with gold wax and key symbol.
- Death, 1:1, Fleance: Dirt + Ripped-Up King Card for Banquo’s 1:1, quote saying “don’t forget me;” Sealed with gold wax and thistle symbol.
- Banquet: Marigold and Cedar for ghosts. Sealed with gold wax and tiny red gem.
- Flight: Daisy for innocence; Juniper for fleeing, finding safety; representing Fleance and the audience in the 1:1; Sealed with gold wax, red thread.
